MEET NATALIE

Couples Therapist in Needham, MA

Maybe you've tried therapy before and it didn't stick, tools that sounded good in the room, but fell apart at the first real fight or the next long stretch of silence. Or maybe you've never actually talked to a therapist about your sex life at all.

Here's what I've found: anyone can read a book on intimacy and communication. The problem is the negative cycle you've been running for years, whether that's the same fight on repeat or slowly drifting into roommates who barely touch. I help you find that cycle and interrupt it, so you can rebuild real desire and connection.

I'm Natalie, a couples therapist working with partners ready to figure out what the heck is going on, so they can find their way back to each other in the bedroom and in everyday life.

Natalie Gaida, licensed marriage and family therapist in Needham, MA

I’VE BEEN THERE…

My husband and I got along so well that we became roommates, and I just let it happen. I didn't think our sexual intimacy needed tending, until it was almost gone. I told myself the distance was normal, temporary…something that would fix itself eventually.

I know what it's like to keep turning your partner away and tell yourself it's not a big deal, hoping it'll fix itself. To watch the distance grow, quiet and slow, while still looking like a couple who has it all figured out. To carry the guilt of "I should want this" and the shame of "am I broken," without ever saying either out loud.

Here's what changed: we finally stopped pretending and did the work ourselves. I learned that desire doesn't just come back on its own, you have to build back toward it, together. That shift changed everything for us, and now I help my clients do the same.

Together, we'll navigate the guilt, the distance, and the disconnect. Not just to help you have more sex, but to help you find your way back to desire and connection.

∞Maybe you've started to believe something is wrong with you, that you're broken, or too tired, or just not built for desire the way other people are.

∞ Maybe you're the one who keeps reaching, and some part of you is starting to wonder if you're asking for too much, or if this is just what your relationship is now.

If that lands somewhere familiar, I'm glad you're here. Not because I have a formula that fixes it overnight, but because you don't need another list of tips you already know. You need to understand what's actually getting in the way of using them. That's the real work, and it's where lasting change starts.

Couples Therapy with me is…

∞A space where you can talk about sex and intimacy without shame, even the parts you've never voiced.

∞ Collaborative. You're the experts on your relationship, and we'll work together to make sense of the pattern you're stuck in.

∞ Curious rather than judgmental. We explore the cycle you're in with compassion, not blame.

∞ Both emotional and practical. Understanding the "why" matters, but so does actually rebuilding desire and connection.

Couples Therapy with me is not…

✕ A place where I take sides or decide who's "right."

✕ Focused on more coping tools or scripts to memorize. Real change doesn't come from another worksheet.

✕ About forcing intimacy or sex before you're both ready.

✕ A place where one partner does all the work while the other coasts.

✕ About becoming a different couple. It's about finding your way back to each other.
